Ecosophy

Contemporary architecture calls for ecological harmony. As our
climate changes, the population grows, and plastics take over, we are in
desperate need of design solutions that do more good than harm. But how can
we achieve such a task?
Felix Guattari argues for Ecosophy; ecological philosophy.
"Without modifications to the social and material environment, there can be no
change in mentalities. Here, we are in the presence of a circle that leads me to
postulate the necessity of founding an "ecosophy" that would link environmental
ecology to social ecology and to mental ecology (Guattari, 1992)." Heterogeneity
and difference provide a rich foundation for ecology, architecture, and society
as a whole.
