Artificial inclinations
Artificial realities create places that we seek. Places where we can explore our imagination or just to get away. This is not a bad thing, as I love Las Vegas and Harry Potter World just as much as the next guy. The 21st century has produced a generation of technology dependent droids that has the ability to create a city of any perception. As this reality becomes 'actualality' and our ability to manipulate technology to transform experience will drain cities of their authenticity. Should this be considered bad, or is there a limit to this? Altering the human experience is risky business as this directly affects social behavior. Should architecture have the privilege of playing with human behaviors?
