But not a hippie romantic kind of thing

To believe architecture as an active space which is inhabited by people, put making space in a different state. Having users points of view as an integral part of design, reduces architect’s authority. Despite that, the constant relationship between users and architect makes our discourse more liberal and is a positive shift for both the community and the architecture.

However, this relationship is not a hippie romantic kind of thing. Sharing and asking people opinion is not like let together dream an ideal future. Instead, it talks about the feasible and objective matters. It encourages people to talk about their current needs and the real things that bother their everyday life.

Participating users reveals some problems which architects may not take into consideration and helps them to learn better about the constraints. Planning with people allow architects to be open to new ideas and at the same time gives people the right to think for themselves and communicate their thoughts. This practical exchange of opinions adds more layers of creativity to the process of architecture.
