Global Urbanism

We have never been more knowledgeable about how we are affecting the environment than we do today; we have all heard about the ticking clock and countdown to our final days on this planet when we inevitably ruin the environment so much that we can't come back from it. Weeks past, we've discussed how we, as architects, are leaders within our field and the world, so we are able to uphold values about the environment. It is in our best interest and our responsibility to stand our ground and fight for a more sustainable built environment. We are major players in the step towards environmentally friendly and sustainable design, as well as one of the main steps towards rebuilding the planet. Maybe we can push more emphasis on ecological urbanism and force the public to see the ramifications of our actions as pedestrians and as world-builders.
