Architect give his opinion on envelopes (nobody asked) (satire)

As an architect, I’ve spent countless hours designing buildings, creating intricate floor plans, and choosing the perfect color palettes for each room. But let me tell you, when it comes to the envelope, I just don’t care.

Sure, the envelope is what protects the building from the elements, but honestly, who cares? I mean, what’s the point of spending all that money on a fancy facade when it’s just going to get dirty and worn down over time?

I’d rather spend my time and energy focusing on what really matters: the interior design. After all, that’s where people spend most of their time in a building, right? So why not make it as comfortable and aesthetically pleasing as possible?

I understand that some architects may argue that the envelope is what gives a building character and makes it stand out. But really, can’t we just let the building speak for itself based on its function and design?

Plus, think about all the time and money that could be saved if we just simplified the envelope. No more fancy materials or intricate designs to worry about. Just a plain, simple facade that gets the job done.
