Gang Wars Affect on City Planning
I think that gang wars affect the way urban cities are designed. For example, in Los Angeles, some neighborhoods have high gang activity, which has led to the creation of "gang injunctions." These are court orders that prohibit known gang members from associating with each other or engaging in certain activities within certain geographic areas. The idea is to disrupt the gang's ability to operate in a particular area, but it can also have the effect of making it difficult for people who live in those areas to move around freely. Additionally, in some cities, gang activity has led to the creation of "no-go zones," which are areas that are considered too dangerous for police or other city officials to enter. This can make it difficult for the city to provide services to those areas, and prevent that part of the city from growing economically.
