Space

Space:

In order to understand architecture in terms of social justice we must first have an idea what what is "space". To me, space is merely what is left over after all physical elements have been taken away. It is the voided space which is created by the implementation of the physical. According to our discussion in class, space is produced by practice, ideas, and politics. But is it really that complex? Can space not be unintentionally created? Created by nature and not by man? Without the involvement of practice of politics? I believe it can. And that when it happens without the use of these aspects, it can ultimately lead to some of the most impressive and expressive moments.
