Different Scales

Architecture, or anything in reality, will not fix all the social injustices, but we have the moral obligation to be willing to try to lessen them. Community involvement and connection is imperative to learn what the problems are and how to fix them. However, without actual human contact it’s hard to understand the real “struggles” to formulate an effective solution.

You also have to be able to look at spatial justice in different lenses. One instance of spatial justice could mean nothing on a larger scale of things, but if you zoom in and take a closer look at a smaller scale it’s amazing to see how many people’s lives it is possible to touch. Maybe we can’t mend everything, but what can be corrected can mean the world to a community.
