"What do I see? What do I want people to see of me?"

"I am really glad to be situated on this square.  Or they could say: I am the most beautiful building here - you lot all look ugly.  I am a diva.  Buildings can say that sort of thing."

Reacting to the surroundings, both physical (buildings) and emotional (user thought) is something that intrigues me when thinking about building envelopes.  As the building limit, the envelope is the last say in which the physical parameters of the building can make a statement.  Sure the site can do something to foster a connection or division, but the facade really says something about the buildings' intention.

Am I promoting transparency?
