Picture-Perfect

After Tuesday’s lecture about ecological urbanism and engineering the environment, I was inspired by the example of individuals losing human connection at Yellowstone National Park because it is such a large scale. When I took a trip there in 2014, I remember our car being stopped by a Bison and that was the moment I took a photo. The culture we have today in 2024 is that our connection with nature is always part of our culture with pictures. How does architecture either promote or dissuade this photo-based culture? What role does social media play in human connection and architecture?
