Green can be cheap
Green building is a broad concept. Green does not mean high prices and high costs. For example, the caves (a local traditional house)in Yan'an in China are warm in winter and cool in summer. Transform it into a Chinese-style green building, and the cost is not high; Xinjiang has a building with local characteristics, and its walls are made of local gypsum and straw with good permeability. The high heat preservation, coupled with the very localized roof, is a typical rural green building, and its construction cost is very cheap.
Another example is that in many southern regions, 40% of the air-conditioning in the house is designed to cope with outdoor sunlight, and a tiny intelligent temperature measuring device is installed. When the sunlight is hot, the shade automatically rises, reducing the amount of sunlight that enters the room, reducing Air conditioning energy consumption. Such an intelligent building is green and it is a building that meets the requirements of our time.
