Appearance or Personality

While taking a look at some projects, I think envelope and interior are both important to a good architect. And they will try their best to find the beautiful balance between the exterior and interior. The interior atmosphere is connected with the function of building envelope. And the building envelope is designed based on the interior program. It is not just adding interior elements to the inside of a building shell without a smooth connection to the exterior.  They should have a close relation and collaboration to create a unique character for the building. The exterior envelope of the building acts like people’s physical appearance, and inner space can be seen as the personality that is covered by the masks. A good design cannot just have an attractive face without a magnetic personality.
