Waste not want not.

In Mostfavi's reading he discusses the need for innovative design due the ever shrinking supply of resources. He also goes on to challenge who governs this idea of innovation in ecological urbanism, but who are we to say we should have more power than others?  It has already been established that our world is being depleted in many resources that we need to sustain life until we develop something better. So who should we waste these resources in experimenting with over the top and abusive architecture that wastes so many of these vital resources. We discussed in class how it is not ethical to make a tree from steel and iron when a true organic tree is so much more sustainable. To me this is humans doing what we do best and that is making a problem worse while looking for the solution. To me we should not waste and instead have a resolve to only use the bare necessity that is needed.
