Back to ancient times?
Unbalanced geographical development has led to social polarization, resulting in a disparity between the "central and marginal." In this process, the central region has a main and decision-making position, and it enjoys all the benefits brought about by social development: a convenient life, a beautiful environment, and perfect services. The backward areas in the attachment and dependency status bear all the evil consequences of modernity.
Soja took the collective action of many social organizations after the Los Angeles incident in 1992 to fight for space rights as an example. He argued that when inequalities such as wealth and social stratums increasingly pass through spatial differences such as housing, and space segregation is reproduced and expressed, the weak can only be organized. The collective action can only realistically change the inequality and injustice of the living space.
