Spatial Justice

Spatial justice refers to the pursuit of social justice and justice from the perspective of space. Through the corresponding value guidance, institutional arrangements, policy formulation and planning to achieve spatial development results shared by the community. The goal of the pursuit of space justice is to observe, identify, mitigate, and eliminate injustice problems in the process of space production.


In recent years, with the rise of the concept of sustainable development, the concept of environmental justice has emerged, and it has gradually been incorporated into the analytical framework of space justice. The main research topics include racial discrimination, social and economic exclusion, industrial pollution and natural disasters, etc.
