Architect/Professional Juggler

When considering who should have the main hand in designing it is not as straightforward as I’d like to think. In theory, I immediately believe as a designer, I should work to design for the people that will use the space. It would be nice to be able to give the client whatever they want but there are also a million other forces at play. There are considerations like what is possible, what fits in with the community, and what is resilient to external wear. As the designer, architects often play the role of mediator between all the things that impact the building.
