everyday life

Shaping the environment for everyday life seems like something we should all be thinking about. In the reading, Crawford contends that urban spaces aren't just backgrounds for human activities but molded by the routines and interactions of the people who use those spaces. I think a really good example is in Savannah, Georgia and how the urban planning of the city kept in mind of the environment and it's people. Even though it is not 100% perfect and agreeing with Crawford that sometimes the approaches to urban planning can fall short to the diverse needs of the communities, it is in the right direction.
