urban consumption
Agreeing with Lefebvre's concept, I think it is absolutely important that the people should have the option to shape their environment and participate in decision-making processes. In the direction we're headed, the spaces that we create in an urban setting are for consumption and production and don't think of the people as a whole. However, I do think people are advocating more for equitable access to urban resources, and challenging urban planners to think more of the community as a whole rather than production.
