Green or Bust

 

Reading “Towards a meteorological architecture” was music towards my ears as someone who is very concerned with the state of the environment. As the article states, our industry accounts for half of the greenhouse gas emissions. I also really appreciated how the author took what most people think of as an obstacle of design and turned it into a new lens of design. I think as designers we need to accept that standards will be changing, but our design capabilities will only become stronger as we push aesthetics and concept along with environmental design. I hope as an industry we can come together and change the climate we created.
