The Impact of Junk spaces
Junk spaces have an influence that extends beyond the actual buildings or digital interfaces; they have an effect on people's interactions, the environment's health, and living quality in general. For architects, designers, and technologists to make a positive impact on people's well-being as well as the sustainability of our communities and planet, they must acknowledge and address the negative effects of junk spaces. In order to lessen the negative consequences of junk spaces on different facets of our lives going forward, we must prioritize intentional design, sustainable methods, and the creation of meaningful and enriching environments.

Absolutely intentional design is crucial because as future architects, we have to play a pivotal role in shaping the future built environment and make sure it has a positive impact.
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree. I went to the Anderson Mall recently and half the mall was closed down and the parking lot completely empty. I think we need to think and understand how spaces will be used in the future and not just what is popular now. Because like the Anderson Mall, it is becoming "junkspace".
