DENNYS IS FOR THE BURG

Commercial companies have taken a position where they can build these major architectural moments where those become local icons in these cities, however end up becoming an embedded piece of the city's local economical web and end up becoming architecture that is only advertisement and nothing else. For example the Denny's tower in Spartanburg SC. This building serves no purpose but a corporate HQ where the city of Spartanburg ends up getting its history shadowed by a massive tower that does a poor attempt to blend in with the city and brings no architectural gain. They even claim to provide a public space but even that is still a private park. So Denny's anyone?
